Greetings
I met Pastor Steve on the cricket field in 1994; I was a young and unsaved teacher then. Through the years Pastor Steve and I often met at the local vegetable and fish stall (corner of Centre and Hattorn Street). He always shared health tips with me, like the use of apple cider vinegar, which he swore by, and other herbal health products. He shared food recipes I could use for my daughter who has health issues, recipes he used to prepare meals for his granddaughter Josline.
I marveled at his general knowledge, he even advised on what sea food I should purchase. He always had a kind word of advice and concern for me and my family, especially my brother in law, Pastor Herald Abel. I had the privilege of sitting under his preaching at a leadership seminar at Hope Evangelical Church. His message was like no other, definitely not a recycled internet message, but a well-researched, authentic, anointed and timely message which shaped my leadership roles in the church I attended. I feel privileged and blessed to have known such a dynamic yet humble servant of God. I can truly say that it was through the conduct of men like Pastor Steve, I came to the saving grace of Jesus.
Great scholar of the Word, you have impacted my life for eternity, I am blessed because of you, all glory to Jesus. Rest well till we meet on that beautiful shore.
“For we live by faith and not by sight”
God Bless!!

To the bereaving Francis Family: may the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ overshadow each one of you during these trying times.
Pastor Steven Francis: an astute and upright minister of the End Time Message who preached this Gospel with simplicity , zeal and unwavering love for everyone that came into contact with him , worldwide. A true Ambassador for Christ.
His desire to assist anyone who approached him was one of his outstanding characters. His willingness to listen to you and then impart Godly Wisdom based on The Word was impeccable. A man that stood for This Word and practiced what he preached.
The Appana family in Durban , South Africa, like millions around the world will surely miss this man who stood above men that preached This Word uncompromisingly and was loved the world over.
Looking forward in spending Eternity with you my precious brother and friend. And you have some unfinished preaching in the Book of Hosea. We’ll talk it over in the by and by….
Until then, you will be forever and fondly remembered in our hearts. This world has lost a well-respected man of the cloth. However we have an assurance that we will be reunited in theophany soon. He just beat us in this graduation.
To his family and friends: what impact did he make and leave in your life and what legacy will you leave behind when it’s your time to cross the river? We have a responsibility to fulfill our purpose.

As I pencil my tribute to this amazing human being, I am emotionally distraught yet I rejoice knowing that you my dear brother Steve had made a profound impact in so many lives including myself.
My meeting with Brother Steve was made possible through my precious brothers Vasa and the late brother Siva. In 1998 I visited Newcastle and I said wow I want this spiritual peace that the fellowship of Brother Steve’s church have, this is where I met this God given gift to mankind. It’s was the first time in my church going life that I sat in church for 2 hours of preaching, I was weeping with joy that I can’t quite express the feeling that it felt so overwhelming, I wanted more of what the Son of God was preaching, this made me stand in awe and glorify our God for this true Saint of God ability to use Gods precious Word and open up a new chapter in my personal walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.
It was the first time I met brother Steve, when we greeted and hugged and his first words to me was “ God bless you my brother I will see you again my dear brother” and within 2 weeks I was baptised by my brother Steve and assisted by brother Les. The life of my brother Steve bears testimony in the very lives of his wife Sister Jenny and the children, Sister Jesse, brothers Allistair , Liam and Stevie and the fellowship.
My dear brother Steve I thank you for all that you have done for me I will certainly miss your frequent checks on me and encouragement. The Manner that you fed me from on High and the love that you shared up to and until the day you were admitted to hospital.
“You can shed tears that Brother Steve is gone,
Or you can smile because Brother Steve lived,
You can close your eyes and pray that Brother Steve will come back,
Or you can open your eyes and see all that Brother Steve has left.
Your heart can be empty because you can’t see Brother Steve
Or you can be full of the love that Brother Steve shared,
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday,
Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember Brother Steve and only that brother Steve is gone on yonder
Or you can cherish Brother Steve’s memory and let it live on,
You can cry and close your mind be empty and turn your back,
Or you can do what brother Steve would want: smile, open your eyes to God’s precious word and love and go on.”
I love you always my dear brother and I am trying to be strong however it’s rather painful because you have created a significant void in my life. Remembering you are easy I do that every day, missing you is a heartache that never goes away.
As you would always end your conversation with me by saying “Shalom” till we meet again my dear brother Steve Francis I love you always and forevermore.

Dear Sister Jenny and family,
Please again accept my condolences for your loss, I cannot begin to comprehend the magnitude of your grief and sorrow.
I’ve had the privilege of knowing Bro. Steve as Pastor, brother and friend for 40 years. Whenever I needed counsel or advice, I went to Bro. Steve, knowing that he would seek the face of the Lord on my behalf, and relay God’s direction to me. Whenever I needed prayer regarding matters of serious concern, or seemingly impossible situations, I went to Bro. Steve, knowing that God would hear him, and He did, delivering me again and again out of difficult circumstances and blessing me in accordance with Bro Steve’s supplications; I probably owe all that I am and have to Bro. Steve’s prayers.
Not only did he love me dearly, as he expressed in many messages, he loved my family too and often enquired after their welfare – never have I known such a man, and nor am I likely too, truly he was one of a small handful of special God-men given to this generation.
The last message I received from Bro. Steve was on 16th June 2021:
“And a man that’s got the Spirit of God in him or a woman, lives that Word, lives right out of them. That’s the heartbeat, the predestinated, for the Word of the Lord comes to them, and they are the Word to the people…Could the Third Pull be on?” Souls in Prison par. 342-343. We are the heartbeat. How glorious. Have a blessed day. Love you.”
Truly Bro. Steve exemplified this quotation, he was God’s heartbeat, full of love for the Word, the Church and all humanity.
In closing, I would like to mention a scarce-found God-like characteristic he possessed and portrayed: no matter how badly any person had fallen, or “mess” they had gotten into, or disappointed him, Bro. Steve’s door and heart was always open to them, caring only for their reconciliation to God, without any judgement or recrimination – he was truly a man with the heart of God for the people!
I miss him sorely.

What an example of a true message. He was the living word of God in flesh. I remember asking him about popularity. He used to visit us in Witbank once every year. He told me, I do not go anywhere they call me. I need to find the will of God first. I only go once a year to Tucson. He said, people want my messages across the world, and he told me, I refuse to send them. People wanted me to come and pastor them, he told me I refused. I am called here in Newcastle to a simple humble people.
With such a gifted ministry, one would think that he should have been all over the world being one of the great names we know today, but br Steve remained humble, simple and God’s true representative on earth. God bless the wife and the family and be comforted by, 1 Thessalonians 4.

There are very few men that are as God Fearing of Pastor Steve… was privileged to sit under his ministry for a year or so. Will never forget how he could take almost any Old Testament shadow and bring it to light. Will always remember the preaching series on the ‘little room experience’ taking Br Branham’s vision into account. A true leader has gone home… We’ll miss him.

Heartfelt condolences to Sis Jennifer, family and the congregation of Bro. Steven.
We cannot express how saddened we are to hear about Bro. Steven passing or imagine the grief the family and Sis Jennifer are experiencing at this time.
Even though we know he has gone on to his reward we are grieving that he is no longer with us.
We were so happy when they came to visit us in Edmonton in 2019 and will cherish our memories we had with them.
Bro. Steven will be greatly missed, he was a very close friend of mine for many many years and he was an example of a true Believer of Christ.
Our prayers are with the family and praying for the Lord to wrap his arms of love around Sis. Jennifer.
God bless you,

God bless you Francis Family
It has saddened our hearts to hear the passing of our Dear Brother and Friend.
First time I heard of brother Stephen was back in 2000 at a convention in Tucson, Az.
Then in 2006, my dad invited him to come and preach for us in Mexico, which at first he declined but it was the Lord that moved his heart and he accepted later on after a few calls insisting him to come.
It was during this time that he came to preach to us and my brothers and I really connected with bro Stephen. He spent a week with us and preached at the meetings at my dad’s church, still remembering what he preached about: the first two services, “Sacred Motherhood” and the last service “The Seventh Seal”.
It was through these services that the Lord really opened His Word to my brothers and me. I remember being in the room where he was staying at our house prior to the meetings, and my brother Jesse asked him a question about what was the Seventh Seal, he told my brother, have you been reading my notes, this is what I have in my heart to preach for the Sunday service. He took the time to explain in a very simple way that even a little one could understand.
I heard him preaching at special meetings in Ohio where he preached about the Twelve Gates” reading from the book of Nehemiah. I got to introduce him and sister Jeni to my wife.
Last time I saw him was at some meetings in Tucson, Az. I had an opportunity to talk to him before we left; just the Lord knew that it was going to be the last time that we were going to see him on this side of the river.
We will miss him but we know that we have a promise that we will see him again
Until then [Uncle] Tio Steve
Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his faithful servants.

God blessings be upon you Francis Family,
I first saw Br. Stephen Francis in at a church Johannesburg. He preached a Wonderful sermon that Sunday. I don’t remember the Title of the sermon but what I do remember is that my soul was blessed by that Sermon. Every time he will come preach at the church in Johannesburg, his Sermons made the Message real and allowed my soul to continually fall in love with the Message. He spoke from his heart every time he preached, and the Spirit of the Lord was in the Words he spoke with such humility.
By that time, I did not even know that he was coming from Newcastle and that he was the father of our dear Br. Allistair. It’s only when we arrived in Durban that I was told he was the father of Br. Al.
Yesterday, while going through the sermons he preached during the pandemic (Covid-19), I realised that our dear brother preached more than 200 Sermons. (I think that he was lead to store the Food that will sustain the bride for many years).
I thank the Lord for allowing me to see and meet one of the members of the Bride walking on Earth. May God bless his soul and I believe that he is enjoying his rest in the 6th Dimension.
May his love for the Word be our example.

My name’s Christian Panameño, a pastor of a little church in El Salvador C. A.
l grew up in the United States of America but the Lord brought me to this country and l am here preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.
To me Brother Stephen Francis was a man from God. l had the privilege to meet brother Francis in April 2006 in Tucson Arizona, where The Lord God always take his Minister’s and l believe that no, other Minister’s only the ones the Lord appointed have the right to preach this blessing message to the ones the Lord took to sunset mountain where The Lord Jesus Christ met his prophet William Marion Branham, and it was a big privilege share with brother Stephen the word of the Lord, l always will remember my dear brother and l know that he is better over there with the Lord Jesus than we over here even do we have the Lord Jesus Christ in us but here we continue the battle against God enemy our enemy too.
